A great number of fishing addictions were started between the two oars of Grandpa's 12-foot row boat - our own included. These boats are easy to tow, easy to launch and easy to row if you're so inclined in this modern era of trolling motors. Nearly as light as a canoe but more stable, these smaller craft are ideal for catching anything that swims in the small to mid-sized inland lakes many of us grew up on, or around. Tossing and pulling up an anchor is still the biggest pain in your back(side), even in these lighter Standard V style boats. Until now.
Our two solutions to easier anchoring in Standard V boats are shown below. Either unit will work beautifully, it's just a personal preference on how and where you choose to mount it.
