DEEP V BOAT ANCHORING SYSTEM

The two units below are what we feel are the best solutions for your Deep V Boats over 16-feet in length and for use with anchors over 30-lbs.

Each of these units below hold up to 300-feet of 1/4" anchor rope for anchoring in both shallow to very deep waters. They both have 1.5" inside diameter hubs, that give you a 1:1 retrieval ratio - or the ability to retrieve one feet of rope with every crank or turn of the handle. Either of these units are perfect for anchoring your larger and heavier aluminum Deep V boats!

While Deep V's are designed to take the abuse of fishing in rougher water, the wind and waves can make it a chore to remain anchored in position over the fish below. With the ability to hold up to 300' of 1/4" line on the spools, you will have plenty of line to drop anchor farther up wind of your desired fishing hole and then drift your boat back to the marked position over the fish - giving you the proper scope (line/rode length to depth ratio) to stay anchored in rougher conditions.

The WS-150 Unit is an "All-In-One" unit that mounts to the bow of your boat, while the TS-415 Tiller Mount unit works with our TP-240 Tower Piece that allows you to mount the spool back where you steer the boat and mount the Tower Piece to the bow. Each unit makes for easy anchoring with or without a length of chain anchor rode. You will be happy with either of these systems on your boat. The only difference between the two units is how and where you decide to mount them - and we will leave that decision entirely up to you!
