DEEP V BOAT ANCHORING SYSTEM

While larger Deep V boats are made for fishing in rougher waters, some anglers simply don't want to use the heaviest anchor on the market to stay put. Instead, some choose to use a lighter weight anchor with a length of chain leader, or rode, to keep the anchor secured to the bottom. Either system below was designed to handle the extra length of chain rode, either wrapping it directly to the spool on the WS-800 unit or running it through the extra-wide roller on the TP240 Tower Piece.

Many anglers love anchoring in very deep water to chase perch, whitefish, lake trout or any other deep water species of fish. The units below are exactly what you are looking for, as the spools on both units have an 8" inside diameter hub, which gives you a 3:1 turn ratio, enabling you to raise your anchor three feet with every turn of the handle! Your arms and back will thank us for that ratio when you're bringing that anchor up from 100-feet deep or even deeper.

Our systems' easy "free spool drop" gets your anchor down to the bottom faster, and the 3:1 ratio gets your anchor back up easier and faster as well. Speed counts when you find the fish and need to get on them, and ease counts when you have to bring the anchor back up. The longer handle on these units gives you more pulling power with every turn of the handle, making it easy for even the grandkids to man the anchor post!
