This video shows how EASY it is to anchor your boat using an Anchor Wizard anchoring system! This demonstration is with our Gunnel Clamp model (GCJ-315) and Nose Piece (NP-517) with a 10-lb mushroom style anchor in a 13' aluminum Standard V boat. The GCJ-315 unit holds 100 feet of 1/4" rope and we dropped the anchor in 22 feet of water. We anchored upwind of the shoreline drop-off/weed-line we wanted to fish, and allowed the wind to drift the boat back into position while remaining anchored. The split screen shows how easy it was to let out more line with your fingertips as the anchor did it's thing on bottom. Once we reached the edge of our "honey hole", we simply cranked the unit's handle slightly forward to lock us into position. It's as easy as it looks! When the fishing was over, we reeled up the taught line until we were directly over the anchor - then plucked it from the silty lake bottom until it reached the boat in just a few short and easy cranks of the handle.
