Loading... Please wait...Anchor Wizard has created a complete kayak anchor system with a revolutionary spool design to contain up to 60 feet of 1/8" anchor line. Turn the handle backward to drop your anchor in a free-spool release, with the ability to regulate the speed of the drop by "feathering" the handle back and forth.
Once anchored, you can release more line using the spool at your fingertips to work your kayak along a weedline or position yourself over identified structure that fish are holding to below you.
A simple forward crank of the handle in the clockwise direction will lock the spool and keep you anchored in place while you fish away without fighting the wind or current!
When you are ready to move to a new fishing spot, simply crank the spool forward to take up the line until the anchor slides into the flanged nosepiece tube and is safely stowed out of the water and atop your kayak.
Made of Precision Cast 319 Aluminum - fresh and saltwater fishing has never been easier from a kayak!

My only complaint is that I want two; one for the front in addition to my one on the back. I've put 100's of hours on it in salt and brackish water with no issues. I have an 8lb mushroom weight attached to my Malibu Mini X kayak.

I have had an anchor wizard for over a year. I took it out three times and it was locking up and not releasing line. I contacted Anchor Wizard to see if there was something I was doing wrong. After speaking with Kameron in several emails it was not my fault the system was not working correctly. Kameron said he would send parts. Those parts never came and my unit is still broken. I have to manually feed the line out and I still don't know where to get these replacement brake pads from. Also what the description does not say is you need to do maintenance to the unit so don't rivet it to your kayak.

Great product. I installed an Anchor Wizard Low Profile Kayak Anchor on my FeelFree Lure 11.5. I fish the Tampa Bay flats and it's perfect when I'm fishing a trough or hole that is deep deep for my stake out pole. Perfect set up - stake out pole on a trolley on the left side and the anchor wizard mounted on the right side track.
Great Customer Service. I had some problems with the system after using it 5 times. Contacted Kameron and he shipped me a replacement system - no questions asked. Replacement is working great!

Easy to install. I ran the anchor line with some Yakattack Padeyes. So much easier than an anchor trolley and I think it will work better for my application.

I have been using a scuba reel with an attached anchor but until now this has not only keeps the line reeled up at all times but it is a breeze to raise and lower my anchor without touching a wet line or having line all over the deck of your kayak. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a kayak and needs to stay on course in the wind while fishing.

Just bought the tall Anchor Wizard as my second one on my Coosa FD. Not I can anchor into the wind or down wind without having to mess with my anchor trolley. MUCH easier!

Mounting this literally took 5-10 minutes on my Coosa FD. Winch was mounted on the starboard gear track and the chute bracket worked with the existing embedded nuts on the kayak on the stern. All I might want to add are some pad-eyes or Harken pulleys to help reduce friction of the rope path from the winch to the chute. This definitely improves my efficiency fishing a spot and is safer than having anchor and line lying around my feet when not anchored!

Installs really easy and it came with everything needed for the install. Anchor deploys and is brought back in really easy. I've stayed in one spot that was 22' deep with no problem.
The only thing I wasn't pleased with was the amount of noise the anchor support on the back of the kayak made while deploying. But other than that, this product is awesome and I would and have recommended it to others.

This is my second Anchor Wizard, the first one I sold with the boat. I just bought the second one for my new boat. Great product, easy operation.
