Loading... Please wait...Anchor Wizard has created a complete kayak anchor system with a revolutionary spool design to contain up to 60 feet of 1/8" anchor line. Turn the handle backward to drop your anchor in a free-spool release, with the ability to regulate the speed of the drop by "feathering" the handle back and forth.
Once anchored, you can release more line using the spool at your fingertips to work your kayak along a weedline or position yourself over identified structure that fish are holding to below you.
A simple forward crank of the handle in the clockwise direction will lock the spool and keep you anchored in place while you fish away without fighting the wind or current!
When you are ready to move to a new fishing spot, simply crank the spool forward to take up the line until the anchor slides into the flanged nosepiece tube and is safely stowed out of the water and atop your kayak.
Made of Precision Cast 319 Aluminum - fresh and saltwater fishing has never been easier from a kayak!

Best system I have found so far. I have experimented with homemade options and could never get them exactly as I wanted. I like the easy operation and simple installation.
One recommendation I have for an accessory would be a chute mount for the rear of the popular kayak models that are micro anchor ready. This would allow easy installation of the chute without the need to drill holes for a gear track.

East to install. Works great with an anchor trolley.
However, the aluminum housing was very rough at the spindle part.
Also, the powder coating was thin to the point where you could see the alumimum color coming through.
I guess this roughness is from and issue with the casting.
Obviously , it doesn't impede the function..

This is the easiest system by far to install onto any kayak, works like magic. It also comes pre rigged with rope therefore all you have to do is bolt it to your kayak and your ready to go. Much more easier then pulling a 5 lb anchor out of mud instead all you have to do is spin a knob (anchor wizard) which gives you more leverage and overall makes a day on the water more enjoyable.

Works great! Easy to install. My only complaint is that it's a little loud when dropping but I might be able to fix that.

I used my Anchor Wizard on the ATAK 120. It required the installation of a new gear track. I used an aluminum backing plate for the underside to give added strength. I have used the product on multiple trips now with great success.

I used my Anchor Wizard on my 2015 NuCanoe Pursuit! I was able to hold a steady position using it with my anchor trolley on KY Lake with winds up to 20mph! Great product !

I installed min yesterday and tested it today... I used 214oz snagging weights for n anchor and it worked great for me... I have a Wilderness systems Tarpon 120 and have wanted to keep it as light as possible. The system works great im going to have to tweek the rope rigging on my kayak a little and the free spool is going to take a little getting used to... but all in all I am very happy with it

I have a Jackson big rig and this is awesome. The wizards went right into the tracks and tightened down. I like that the ropes roll up nice and neat

I used the Anchor Wizard for the first time this past weekend. I absolutely love the product and will be recommending it to friends.
