The unique design allows you to store the anchor on top of you kayak for ease of paddling, and when the anchor is releases the anchor chute releases allowing the anchor to free fall to the bottom. The chute and track it sits in works well if you have rigged up right. I use a typical folding kayak anchor and a break-free zip tie. Some configurations allow the shaft to get stuck in the tube and it will not lay back in place on the bracket. The only other issue is that it is a bit noisy. A coated anchor would help this.

Bought an anchor wizard for my kayak 2 years ago. Quality product with zero problems. Had the anchor on a trolley and didn't like the setup. Bought the anchor chute and it works perfectly. Sturdy, simple and keeps the mud and seaweed at the stern. Great combo; wizard and chute.

Got my chute's front & rear installed, Haven't had time to get on the water yet.The only problem is the front chute bracket is to short, i had to make a new one 12 in long. It would be nice if you offered some longer length's.

This is the best way to use a anchor on a kayak.
It works so good I put it on all three fishing kayaks
my family uses !! There nothing else like it.
Everybody that uses the anchor wizard wants it!!

Anchor chute works like a dream. Only have one rcomplaint and it is not the product but that there is not good photos of different color options on website.
