I bought Anchor Wizards, 4 of them, back in 2018. Very easy way to manage anchors and anchor lines on my kayaks. But the old-style plastic spools failed this year. I have one with the newer metal spools - likely a 2020 model and it is still working as designed, even in salt water.
So, I ordered replacement spools and some new anchor wizards. Sill the best anchor management system I know of.

I can not believe how good the Customer Service handled my issues with the Anchor Wizard. I wish all online services were this good.
I ordered the Anchor Wizard and it would not tighten up. I looked on line for a solution, but none worked. I called Anchor Wizard for help and they sent me a new one within one to two days. It works perfect now. I hooked it up with an anchor trolley. I don't know how kayakers do without one.

Didn't know if this system would work for me. Took the gamble and mounted one on my Ocean Big Game II. Retired and fish the river 4-5 times a week. Best move I could ever have made. No more wet and cold hands....................great product.

Pros: Product as describe. Quick service. Good product material quality.
Cons: 1/2" Screw adaptor provided is to short cannot use with Scotty rail adaptor, need 3/4" screw size.

I use the low profile Anchor Wizard in conjunction with the YakAttack HD trolley and it works great for managing the anchor and keeping things neat and clean on the kayak.

This review is for the low profile kayak anchor Wizzard cranks only. I purchased these to augment the anchor system I already have on my Wilderness ATAK 140. I have the standard wizzard mounted in the center of my kayak which is used for left or right anchor deployments using anchor trolleys on both sides. I wanted these low profile wizzards to handle a rear anchor and also to use as an anchor pole winch. They both work extremely well and are constructed as well as the original Wizzard. I highly recommend the Anchor Wizzard systems to all kayakers.
