It holds my kayak in place in lakes. Haven't tried on fast moving water. Did exactly what it was supposed to do. The retrieval was good too. Everything worked out great. Really great product!

I cannot give the anchor a full review at this time because I have not tried it on the h2o yet but I can say that it works perfectly with the trolly which my initial grappling anchor ( Walmart 3lb) would not without hand assistance fully retract.
Customer Service is Five Star, I had a issue with the 1st crank unit and they sent out a new one immediately with no questions and were very polite.

Just so you know I have yet to use my recent purchase of the four pound anchor, but I have quite a bit of experience with the six pound anchor which is constructed the same way. The shape and coating on the anchor is spot on to fit with the Anchor Wizard chute, which is a big deal to me. If you use the Anchor Wizard chute, and this is the style of anchor that fits your needs, I doubt there is a better choice.

I tried this anchor out a couple times now and I really like it's low profile design and how it fits inside the anchor wizard chute.... But I wish it was 6-8lbs. My kayak is only 10 feet and the 4lb anchor holds it well enough in creeks, slow moving water, but doesn't hold me in the river or when inshore fishing very well. I wish they would make the anchor longer, with the neck going inside the chute further, and the butt end fatter to give it more weight.
